A PASION FOR JUSTICE:
THE PRUDENCE CRANDALL STORY
High Impact Theater

ADL Passion for Justince Photo

This program represents a very successful partnership between YAC and the CT Anti-Defamation League. It was designed specifically to use theatre to underscore the issues of racial prejudice and student leadership. This dynamic program combines dramatic performance and prejudice awareness workshops led by ADL’s A World of Difference Institute trainers for middle and high school students. Many school districts have utilized this program as an interdistrict program.

A Passion for Justice (Grades 6-12)

This one-woman play portrays Prudence Crandall, CT State Heroine, who took a stand for the rights of others and furthered the causes of education, freedom and equality. Length: Intro, 45 minute performance, 30 minute facilitated discussion with 2 ADL trainers and a 90 minute Focus Group Workshops with 2 ADL trainers.
