A one-woman performance with Tamara Malowitz
that introduces students to a young Harriet Tubman as she retells her
life story: born into slavery to becoming one of history's most inspiring
heroines. This lively and spirited performance teaches students about
the life of a slave, the inner workings of the Underground Railroad, Harriet's
role in the Civil War, and her passion for a right she felt that all living
souls deserved, freedom. The show features drumming and gospel music and
multiple characters performed by one actress.
