ANNE PASQUALE'S LIVING HISTORY
Historical Theatre

Anne Pasquale, presently a member of the Actor's Studio, has
appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions. Her Young
Audiences' programs give students a new perspective on the roles
and contributions of women to America's history and culture.
Liberty Belles (Grades K-8)
Inspired by her own grandmother's tales, Anne's program is based
on the stories of female immigrants from many cultures. She uses
these stories, as well as songs, to explore this nation's cultural
diversity and common heritage. Length: 45 minutes
Liberty Belles Two (Grades 2-8)
This year Anne Pasquale introduces us to a whole new group of
colorful courageous women in Liberty Belles Two. The story of
Mother Jones and March of the Mill Children is just the
beginning of a program that will take you through one and a half
centuries of American Immigration from every point of Liberty's
crown . Length 45 Minutes
The Revolution of Deborah Sampson (Grades K-8)
The extraordinary life of Deborah Sampson, the ”Secret Soldier”
and only recognized female veteran of the Revolution is dramatized
in this high-energy, two-person play. Employing the art of quickchange,
join in the reenactment, and a touch of stage combat as it
clarifies the developments leading from the arrival of the first
colonists to the American Revolution.Length: 45 minutes
*Classroom Visits:
Anne Pasquale will visit the classroom to
share the writing, research and characterization involved in her
historical vignettes. Visits are 15 minutes per class.
