Moxie Radio Hour-Swing from the 1920-40s (Grades 4-12, families)

Back in the days before TV, MP3, DVD, and CD there was radio! The Moxie Radio Hour invites student audiences to help produce an old-time radio broadcast. Dorothy Goldberg, Kate O'Brien, Diane Orson and Walter Gwardyak teach students to sing background scat vocals, learn simple swing dance moves and help create radio sound effects. With three sweet harmony vocals, two hot violins and a swingin' jazz pianist, Moxie performs popular tunes of the 1920s, 30s and 40s, including Take the A Train, Chattanooga Choo Choo and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Period costumes and props get everyone in the mood for jumpin' and jivin'! Length: 45 minutes

Single Performance: $885
Pair of Performances: $1035
